Walter Van Beirendonck has a predilection for science fiction, the supernatural and spirituality. In his collections, he regularly combines aliens and references to E.T., Men in Black and The X-Files, with ethnic motifs. In this way, he invites us to look at the universe with an uninhibited eye and not to reject everything that is not new or deviant.
