Gel of moss with praliné of hemp seeds

The reindeer moss and forest theme evoked a mysterious atmosphere, parallel to the enigmatic anonymity of the mask and the designer.

Martin Margiela’s unique approach to fashion questions the system on which it is founded, in particular the volatility that accompanies it. Margiela frequently used trompe l’oeil motifs in his designs. For his 1996 Spring-Summer collection, he printed simple dresses in flowing fabrics, bearing photographs of other garments.
